Happy New Year
Iteso Welfare Association (IWA) welcomes all its members and supporters to 2016.
In 2015, we successfully held a number of community activities that saw a steady growth of participation by our members and beneficiaries.
The highlight activities included the joint Memorial Service and the Christmas Party held in London in October and December, respectively. Detailed reports of all activities will be presented to members at our next Annual General Meeting.
It was especially encouraging for us to register a rise in membership subscriptions, compared to the previous eight years. This was probably the strongest indication that members support the Association and would like to facilitate its activities.
Your donations and continued participation in the Association’s activities, helped us appeal to the Charity Commission for reinstatement as a registered charity. We are therefore delighted to celebrate with you, our reinstatement to the register of active charities in England and Wales.
This year, we hope not only to embark on charitable activities in fulfilment of our projects and programs, but to continue working with our members to determine how best we can achieve our charitable Objectives. Our unity in purpose will make this possible.
We therefore look forward to an even more successful year for IWA, and wish all our members a prosperous year.
